This is my first post, so I will just talk a little about what this blog is going to be about. I moved into a new apartment this semester, and let's just say it is a little run down. There are good elements: hard-wood floors, plenty of light, lots of electrical outlets, now I just need to make it my own. I love do-it-yourself projects, finding solutions that are both cheap and unique.
In addition to offering some suggestions about fun do-it-yourself decorating, I'll also be discussing things that everyone can do to make their living space a little bit nicer, from the benefits of plants, to feng shui, to saving money on your utilities.
